Curious about how paper is made by hand? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start. You'll learn the basics of paper making using recycled materials, tea, dried flowers and MORE to make a variety of 4x6 sheets. Through hands-on instruction, you’ll explore techniques like pulp preparation, sheet forming, and pressing.Use your paper to later bind into a journal, or enjoy them as artwork themselves.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands wet! You'll be able to pick up your paper the following week after it is fully dry.

This workshop is inspired by our temporary exhibition Time and Memory by Carole Harris, which features handmade paper.

This is an adult class and attendees must be 18+.
