Temple Theatre - Events Volunteering - Sign Up

The Temple Theatre welcomes volunteers to help ensure events run as smoothly as possible. In the guest services role, you will be responsible for helping ensure patrons have the best experience possible. From scanning tickets to sweeping popcorn, we are looking for those who have a can-do spirit with a positive, welcoming attitude. Most of the training that you need can be done "on the job" so to speak as you shadow and assist our usher staff. 

When signing up to volunteer, please ONLY indicate dates you are willing to commit to. We respect how plans may change and things come up, but we're counting on you and aim to avoid last-minute schedule modifications!

Guest Services Volunteer Expectations
What You Will be Doing: In this role, you will be expected to help with tasks that may include: Assist with welcoming guests, scanning tickets, directing guests to seats, passing out programs, theatre clean up post-show (this is in bold because we really need your help with this!). If you are only able to help with a portion of an event please communicate that with the volunteer coordinator (Thor) in advance of the event. 
Dress: Business Casual (We will provide a 'VOLUNTEER' lanyard so patrons can identify you as a helper)
Timing: For most events, our expectation is that you arrive 30mins before doors open. 
Parking: We will put you on the parking list for the lot behind the theatre. If there are exceptions to this we will reach out to you.
